Course Description
This module will add a vitally import response to any casualty treatment, the ability to provide oxygen therapy, as well as important airway options. For choosing the right delivery system for the oxygen, through to airway maintenance, and maintenance of equipment associated with the task. This unit is often undertaken in conjunction with the HLTAID014 module, to achieve an effect response capability.
Course duration is approximately 6 hrs face to face delivery.
There is a pre-requisite for a current HLTAID011 certificate to be held to attend this course.
To comply with mandatory requirements, participants will be required to perform CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor for competency to be achieved
