This four day course satisfies the requirements of the NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act 2001 and is Workcover NSW accredited.

It is designed for those who will assume responsibility for the provision of first aid and a first aid room. In addition to first aid topics the course includes: legislative requirements, aseptic dressings, storage and provision of medications, advanced resuscitation and maintenance of a first aid room. This course can also be conducted in conjunction with an Industrial First Aid course with the addition of one extra day of training to complete the modules not covered in the Industrial First Aid Course.

For those personnel you require to possess both an Occupational First Aid certificate and have the first responder capabilities provided by the Industrial First Aid course this is a practical option.

Certification:
On successful completion of the units of competency, participants will be provided with a Workcover NSW Occupational First Aid certificate valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
